One of the biggest goals for the year was to graduate and here I am all graduated and chilling in life.
Even now I get a little surprised when I think about it. I mean I am an adult now but clearly I don’t act like one haha 😀 but that’s just me.
Honestly, graduation was one of the best days of my life. As I went on that stage to become an official graduate, all the 4 years of hard work felt like it was worth it. All the tears, breakdowns, late nights and broke student days felt like nothing just because of those 10 seconds of stage glory haha 😀 I remember as I looked at my parents from that stage, they looked so proud and I felt so complete.
I still remember there were times in final year when I wanted to give up. Days when I felt so low that it literally felt like it wasn’t worth it. But I remembered that I wanted to do it for my parents. I could see it in my mum’s eyes when she saw me in that gown, that it all was worth it.
In life, there will be many moments when we want to give up. The most important thing to remember is to find our end goal.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Why are you doing this?
- What is the end goal?
- Who can help you with your goal?
Once you have answered these questions then create a plan for yourself. Every time you feel lost or wanting to give up, just think of the plan and carry on.
Giving up is easy and sometimes it feels like the only option but carrying on and seeing the end is so special.
So think of the end goal and carry on through your hard days because YOU WILL SUCCEED.
