I don’t drink

When I say that it doesn’t mean I don’t drink anything. It just means I don’t drink alcohol. This was such a dad joke (face palms)

But then why am I writing a whole post about this?

Well, the answer is very simple. I’ve never drunk in my entire life but nothing frustrates me more than people who think it’s okay to constantly questions that or do any of the following:

  1. You should try it at least. Come on. If I wanted to try it I would. I don’t need you to be all up in my face about it. The number of times people have said that and I just think to myself why is that a necessity.

2. You’re so boring. I’ve heard and read that about non-drinkers like a bazillion times, this is not even an exaggeration. Just because I don’t drink doesn’t mean I’m not going to have fun. If you think I am not fun then maybe don’t hang out with me. Let me have a good time and you have a good time too. Simples!

3. Won’t you feel left out? The only way I can feel left out is if you make me feel left out. What makes me feel left out is, you assuming I won’t have fun and carrying on without me.

Me, living my best non-alcoholic life
me, enjoying my non-alcoholic life

If you have questions about why I don’t drink etc. I am more than happy to answer but. I don’t appreciate you being annoying about the situation. I have had some amazing nights without drinking and I will continue to do so.
